PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control apparatus that stops operation of some of blocks performing processing in a specific rate mode.SOLUTION: The communication device control apparatus is connected to a communication device including a plurality of signal processors that perform signal processing, each in a different and specific communication mode corresponding to relevant communication standards, for communication between the communication device and the other device connected thereto. The communication device control apparatus comprises: link detection means which detects whether the communication device is in a link-up state that is a state available for communication with the other device or in a link-down state that is a state other than the link-up state; and operation control means which is connected to switch means that stops or starts operation of the signal processors other than a signal processor for standby that is at least one prescribed signal processor among the plurality of signal processors, and controls the switch means to cause the signal processors other than the signal processor for standby to stop their operation if the communication device is in the link-down state. |
