PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily repair, in an image forming apparatus using a transfer belt carrying a toner image and rotated to be driven, roughened parts or damage caused on a surface of the transfer belt for holding a toner image.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 using a transfer belt 16 carrying a toner image and rotated to be driven is provided with a support member 26 that supports a surface of a transfer belt on the opposite side of a surface for holding a toner image; and a heating roller 27 that presses and heats the surface of the transfer belt for holding a toner image at a position opposite to the support member with the transfer belt therebetween. |
