PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed pulley which can suppress noise and friction loss during the period of engagement of belt teeth and pulley teeth without changing the material of a pulley body and applying a treating material having a low friction coefficient to a surface.SOLUTION: A toothed pulley 1 has, at its outer periphery, a plurality of pulley teeth 11 which continuously come in contact and slide in a form that belt teeth of the belt having teeth become engaged. In the toothed pulley 1, at a position of contact and sliding with the belt teeth of the pulley teeth 11, a roller 16 spreading over the width part of the pulley teeth 11 is provided. Preferably, the roller 16 is embedded in the teeth face of the pulley 11 in a manner that a part of the outer periphery face is protruded from the teeth face of the pulley teeth 11. |
