The method involves controlling (S160) an output of a wake-up request signal and another wake-up request signal in such a way that a time interval between the outputs of the wake-up request signals is same or larger than a time interval threshold value. The time interval between the receipt of the former and latter wake-up request signals is compared with the time interval threshold value. The output of one among wake-up request signals is controlled based on the comparison between the time interval and the time interval threshold value. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a chip system for use with a wake up-request signal distribution circuit; and (2) a multi-core system for use with multiple wake up-sources.
