PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a sheet processing device.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device 201 includes: an inlet roller 203 that conveys a sheet P along a conveyance path 240; a sheet ejection roller 205 that can convey the sheet P conveyed by the inlet roller 203 to outside the device or to branch path (second conveyance path) 241 branched from the conveyance path (first conveyance path) 240; a branch claw 204 that guides the sheet P to the side of the branch path 241; an abutting surface 242 that aligns the end part of the guided sheet P; and a binding tool 210 that binds the aligned sheet (bundle) PB. When the sheet P is guided to the side of the branch path 241 by the branch claw 204, the sheet P is configured to straddle between the conveyance path 240 and the branch path 241 and be collected, and the sheet P can be bound by the binding tool 210 in a collected state.
