PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal that can have a contact surface of a contact arm part held in contact following up a contact surface of an opposite terminal, and can be made low in cost, compact, and high in reliability.SOLUTION: A terminal includes a base part held by a terminal holding member and a contact arm part extending from the base part and coming into contact with a contact part of an opposite terminal. The contact arm part includes cantilever type first and second frame parts extending from the base part, a connecting frame which connects a free end of the first frame part to a free end of the second frame part, a contact projection part formed at the first frame part, and a contact surface formed at the contact projection part, the contact surface moving in parallel when the contact arm part elastically deforms by coming into contact with the contact part of the opposite terminal so as to maintain contact with an opposite-side contact surface of the contact part of the opposite terminal. |
