PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processed product of noble metal-containing scrap from which the noble metal can be simply and efficiently recovered and a production method therefor and a noble metal recovery method.SOLUTION: A processed product of noble metal-containing scrap contains a base material and a layer suited for the physical separation of the noble metal, formed on the base material and containing a noble metal compound, and the noble metal compound is a noble metal alloy or a noble metal sulfide. In a production method for the processed product of noble metal-containing scrap, the noble metal alloy is an alloy with at least one metal selected from the group consisting of iron, copper, nickel, zinc, and lead, and the layer suited for the physical separation containing a noble metal compound formed by alloying a noble metal with a metal is formed by bringing scrap containing a base material carrying the noble metal into contact with the metal compound. The noble metal sulfide is obtained by sulfiding the noble metal by bringing the scrap into contact with sulfur or a sulfur compound. Further, a noble metal recovery method includes a step of forming the noble metal compound, a step of recovering the formed noble metal compound by a physical separation method, and a step of extracting the noble metal from the noble metal compound. |
