PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing cadaverine.SOLUTION: A method of producing cadaverine comprises: constructing a recombinant microorganism having a deregulated lysine decarboxylase gene and at least one deregulated gene selected from a group (i) of aspartokinase and other specific enzymes provided that at least one second gene (i) other than the aspartokinase is deregulated when the aspartokinase is deregulated as the gene (i); and culturing the microorganism.
