PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology which helps to reduce deficiency occurring when a rectifier element is attached to a fuel cell.SOLUTION: A fuel cell comprises: a power generation member including a membrane electrode assembly; a pair of separators respectively disposed on both sides of the power generation member; a rectifier element in which a current flows when a negative voltage develops between the pair of separators and which is disposed between the pair of separators in such a way that two electrodes of the rectifier element are respectively opposed to the pair of separators, and that the two electrodes are electrically connected to the pair of separators respectively by conductive adhesive; and a flowing restraint section disposed adjacent to the rectifier element, which checks flowing of the adhesive so that the two electrodes of the rectifier element are not electrically connected via the adhesive. |
