<p>The invention relates to a device for producing coated products comprising: a furnace comprising a chamber (2) intended to be rotated and having an inner wall (2A) and being provided with a main inlet (3) intended to receive uncoated virgin or recycled granular products (25) or a mixture of the two, and an outlet for the bituminous coated products produced in the chamber (2), a heating means defining a combustion area (4) in the chamber (2) and generating a drying flow capable of drying the granular products (25), protection means for protecting the inner wall (2A) which are located in the combustion area (4), characterised in that the protection means are formed from a plurality of plates (13) extending at a distance from or against said inner wall (2A) and mutually overlapping in a partial manner to ensure the thermal protection of the inner wall (2A).
