PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine for a vehicle which improves heat radiation and cooling performance when air-cooling the rotary electric machine for the vehicle which integrally includes a power control part.SOLUTION: An entire amount of cooling air WIN introduced from a cooling air introduction passage 6 is guided to a ventilation hole 2 and is sent to a rotary electric machine part 12. A power control board 7 is disposed in a ventilation passage W of the cooling air WIN which moves from the cooling air introduction passage 6 to the ventilation hole 2. Thus, even if the power control board 7 generates heat in response to control operation of the rotary electric machine part 12, the cooling air WIN passing through the ventilation passage W effectively radiates heat of the power control board 7 and cools the power control board 7. |
