PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor easily ensuring the output of a detection signal even if an area of a lead electrode is decreased.SOLUTION: A gas sensor is provided with a detection element 10 for detecting measured components; an outside lead electrode formed on a part of an area in a circumferential direction on a rear end side outer surface of the detection element 10; an outside terminal member 52 which can be brought into electrical contact with the outside lead electrode in a contact portion 521 formed in a shape partially cutting off an annular shape; an outer cylindrical member 90 formed in a cylinder shape for storing the outside terminal member 52 and the like therein; a lead member 55 for leading a detection signal outputted from the detection element 10 to the outside of the outer cylindrical member; and an elastic member for blocking the outer cylindrical member 90, and having a through-hole 42 in which the lead member 55 is inserted. At least a part of the elastic member is press-fitted in the outer cylindrical member 90. |
