PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the detection sensitivity in a biosensing method using a biosensor equipped with a field effect transistor.SOLUTION: There is provided a biosensing method which comprises the steps of: preparing a biosensor including a silicon substrate, a gate insulating film formed on a silicon substrate surface, a source electrode and a drain electrode arranged on the gate insulating film and a channel for connecting the source electrode with the drain electrode, a gate electrode capable of controlling the channel and a reaction field disposed on the silicon substrate surface; immobilizing detection object material recognition molecules in the reaction field; supplying a measurement sample to the reaction field in which detection object material recognition molecules are immobilized; applying a driving voltage X(V) between the source electrode and the drain electrode; and measuring a current value flowing to the channel. In this case, the gate insulating film has a dielectric constant exceeding 3.9. |
