PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound cleaning evaluation device and a wound cleaning evaluation method capable of supporting reliable performance of negative pressure treatment of a wound.SOLUTION: This wound cleaning evaluation method includes: a step of preparing a substrate 7 having a recess 5 formed to simulate a wound; a step of filling the recess 5 with a water-permeable material 9; a step of making a water-soluble ink penetrate into the water-permeable material 9; a step of sealing the recess 5 of the substrate 7 with a translucent material; a step of introducing a cleaning liquid to the recess 5 of the substrate 7 from a supply tube 13; a step of leading out the cleaning liquid in the recess 5 of the substrate 7 from a discharge tube 15; a step of causing the recess 5 of the substrate 7 to generate negative pressure via the discharge tube 15; a step of taking a picture of the water-soluble ink penetrated into the water-permeable material 9 every time a predetermined time elapses; and a step of displaying the images in an arrangement in accordance with a photographed order.
