PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inexpensive planar antenna which maintains a fine pattern even at the end of a circuit pattern, and which has a resistance value which is large enough to make the planar antenna operate as a circuit.SOLUTION: In a vacuum evaporation device including an oil mask formation chamber in which an oil mask is formed and a metal vapor deposition layer, a method for manufacturing a planar antenna includes: forming an oil mask as a non-deposition part on one face of a base film; and carrying out metal vapor deposition which is 0.5 μm or more in vapor deposition thickness to continuously form desired planar antenna patterns. The method for manufacturing the planar antenna is characterized such that oil to be used for the oil mask is perfluoroalkyl polyether, and that the following formulas (1) and (2) are satisfied, the formula (1): a stream pressure at 100°C is 1×10to 9×10hPa, and the formula (2): kinetic viscosity at 100°C is 1×10m/s or more. |
