PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona charger capable of preventing an abnormal image such as density unevenness and image blurring caused by the adhesion of discharge products generated from a charger using corona discharge, especially NOx to the photoreceptor surface by drastically improving the decomposition ability of discharge products and an image forming apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a corona charger having a corona discharge electrode and a charge grid, wherein the charge grid has a coating layer containing metal oxide particles, a resistance adjustment agent and a binder resin and the metal oxide particles contains one or two or more selected from CeO, AlOor ZrOand carry rhodium. |
