PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device and a power supply device capable of suppressing reduction in efficiency at charging, which is caused by variation in characteristics of each battery, and of shortening a charging time, in a configuration for charging a plurality of batteries.SOLUTION: A charging device 51 charges a plurality of batteries BAT1-BAT4 connected in series. The charging device 51 has: a plurality of shunt circuits SH1-SH4 provided corresponding to the batteries, and each performing a shunt operation for making a part or all of a charging current for charging the corresponding battery flow in another circuit; and a controller 19 for controlling the shunt operations of the corresponding shunt circuits on the basis of voltages of the batteries. |
