PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode substrate having excellent battery performance and corrosion resistance against an electrolyte solution, in a dye-sensitized solar cell using an aluminum alloy substrate.SOLUTION: The electrode material for a dye-sensitized solar cell includes an aluminum alloy plate, and a phosphate chromate membrane formed thereon. The aluminum alloy plate contains 1.0-8.0 mass% (hereinafter, noted by %) of Mg, less than 0.05% of Cu, Si, Fe, Mn, and the balance of Al and inevitable impurities. The distribution amount of intermetallic compound having a maximum diameter of 3 μm or more on the surface of the aluminum alloy plate is less than 20 pieces/mm, and the phosphate chromate membrane is formed with a coating weight of 5 mg/mor more in terms of metal Cr. |
