PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion of a sheet due to fusion of a recording material caused by a reciprocating movement of the sheet.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: fixing means for fixing a recording material on a sheet; and control means for controlling, after the last of the fixation to be performed on the sheet by the fixing means, to perform a reciprocating movement in which the sheet is conveyed in a first direction, then in a second direction reverse to the first direction, and then in the first direction with a paper ejection device for ejecting the sheet to the outside of the image forming apparatus. |
