Blades (1) for an axial flow compressor are used by being disposed on a circle centered at an axis and are each provided with a base section (2) and a blade section (3). The base section (2) comprises an inner-diameter surface (2b) which is located on the inside of the circle, an outer-diameter surface (2c) which is located on the outside of the circle, two annular side surfaces (2d) which extend along the circle, two axial side surfaces (2e) which extend in the axial direction, and connection sections (2a) which have a shape protruding or recessed in the axial direction relative to the annular side surfaces (2d) and which are formed so as to extend along the circle. The blade section (3) extends in an upstanding manner in the radial direction from the base section (2), and the base section (2) and the blade section (3) are formed integrally with each other and have a sintered metal powder structure. The blades (1) for an axial flow compressor are, for example, stator blades for a gas turbine.
