PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire cable that is halogen-free and has both of superior fire retardancy and mechanical properties.SOLUTION: A fire-retardant wire cable 10 comprises: a conductor 11; and a coating provided at an outer periphery of the conductor 11, which comprises a crosslinked body of a halogen-free fire-retardant resin composition containing 0.1-5.0 pts. mass of bis[2-methyl-4(3-n-alkylthio propionyloxy)-5-tert-butylphenyl]sulfide and 0.1-5.0 pts. mass of tetrakis[methylene-3-(3',5'-di-tert-butyl-4'-hydroxyphenyl)propionate]methane as an antioxidizing agent, 1.0-4.0 pts. mass of dicumyl peroxide as a crosslinking agent and 0.5-6.0 pts. mass of ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as a cross-linking auxiliary agent with respect to 100 pts. mass of polyolefin comprising 60-90 mass% of an ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer and 10-40 mass% of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer.
