PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter, an electrical apparatus and a cleanup method in which a temperature rise is suppressed during treatment of a material to be treated.SOLUTION: A filter comprises a porous ceramic having a volume resistivity of 5-500 &OHgr;-cm, and electrical conductivity, and seizes at least one selected from odor-causative materials, bacteria, viruses, allergen and fungus, wherein deodorization and/or inactivation are performed by supplying a current to the filter. This invention performs cleanup by energizing the filter. An electrical apparatus 1 has the filter 2, a pair of electrodes 3 and an electric power unit 4. |
