PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a laminated core which allows for lamination of segment core pieces with no gap without being affected by swelling in the lamination direction which occurs in a coupling part, when laminating a plurality of segment core pieces, that are continuous in strip via the coupling parts, by bending and winding spirally.SOLUTION: Strip core pieces 12 coupled by coupling parts 11 formed on the outer periphery are folded at the coupling parts 11 and the side ends 13, 13a of adjoining segment core pieces 10 are matched. The coupling parts 11 provided on the vertically adjoining layers are wound spirally while being shifted in the peripheral direction, and then caulked and laminated via a caulking portion 14 provided in the segment core piece 10 thus manufacturing a laminated core. In such a method of manufacturing a laminated core, a collapsing step for flattening a swelling portion 30 of the segment core piece 10 in the thickness direction, formed when folding the coupling parts 11, is carried out simultaneously with lamination of the segment core pieces 10 arranged vertically, or after lamination. |
