PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money processor for ejecting paper money in a state that the vertical direction of paper money is aligned such that it is not necessary for a user who has withdrawn paper money to confirm the amount of money or invert several paper money upside down when putting the paper money in his or her own wallet.SOLUTION: The paper money processor includes: a depositing/dispensing part for depositing and dispensing paper money; a paper money identification part for identifying the top/reverse state and vertical direction of conveyed paper money with respect to a direction of conveyance; a paper money storage part for storing paper money; and a control part for controlling them. When dispensing transaction is performed, accumulated paper money is delivered from the paper money storage part, and the top/reverse state and vertical direction of the delivered paper money with respect to the direction of conveyance is identified by the paper money identification part, and when the identified state of the paper money is the same as the predetermined top/reverse state and vertical direction of paper money which is subject to the dispensing transaction with respect of the direction of conveyance, the identified paper money is conveyed to the depositing/dispensing part. |
