PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device including a security module that can prevent rewind, which causes old version information to be erroneously or intentionally read, and can always read the latest version information.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device of the present invention includes: a CPU 10; a built-in flash memory 20; and a security module 30. The security module 30 performs processing for security functions when latest version information that is included in data which is obtained by monitoring a bus and latest version information on security functions which is written to the security module 30 by the CPU 10 match with each other and also data that is stored at an address where reading is performed subsequently to the latest version information is determined to be predetermined information. |
