PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can suppress deterioration of an image quality due to an interference between landed ink droplets, and an image forming method.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of dot forming elements (100) arrayed along an array direction (the direction of arrow X). The apparatus forms dots (154, 156) of at least two sizes on a recording medium (12) by ejecting liquid droplets (150, 152) from the plurality of dot forming elements (100). When the respective dots (154, 156) formed along the array direction are classified into a plurality of groups depending on a plurality of times, the existing ratio of smaller size dots (154) is made higher for one of the groups of an earlier time of the times. |
