PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor driving device that can effectively lubricate a planetary gear-type deceleration mechanism from immediately after starting.SOLUTION: An in-wheel motor driving device includes a first planetary gear-type deceleration mechanism 41 which decelerates and outputs rotation of an electric motor 30, and a second planetary gear-type deceleration mechanism 42 which decelerates and outputs rotation output from the first planetary gear-type deceleration mechanism 41. A first output shaft of the first planetary gear-type deceleration mechanism 41 is arranged inside a rotor shaft 33. The first output shaft serves as a common shaft as an input shaft of the second planetary gear-type deceleration mechanism 42. The first and second planetary gear-type deceleration mechanisms 41 and 42 are juxtaposed in an axial direction. A disk part 32c of a rotor 32 of the electric motor 30 is arranged between the first and second planetary gear-type deceleration mechanisms 41 and 42. Oil in a casing 10 is scraped up by rotation of the rotor 32, and the first and second planetary gear-type deceleration mechanisms 41 and 42 are lubricated with the oil from a gap which is formed from internal gears 44 and 56 and the disk part 32c. |
