PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive cemented carbide end mill which achieves a processing efficiency of a level equivalent to that of a current end mill formed of a high-hardness sintered compact, a high-quality surface roughness and a tool life equivalent to or longer than that of the current end mill, and to provide a method for processing a scroll member using the same.SOLUTION: A cemented carbide end mill includes a body 1 with a tip in which a plurality of cutting edges constituted of an outer circumferential cutting edge 2 and a bottom cutting edge 3 are provided, wherein the number of cutting edges is 10-16 and a rake cutting edge 4 is formed in a tip of the bottom cutting edge 3. |
