PURPOSE: A biosensor strain for detecting toxoflavin is provided to quickly and simply analyze the presence and quantity of toxoflavin from a plant tissue infected by bacteria which produce toxoflavin when mixing with X-gal (5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-β-D-galactopyranoside). CONSTITUTION: A biosensor strain, Burkholderia glumae COK71]KACC91692P, for detecting toxoflavin is transformed with a reacombinant vector containing a toxA gene fragment and lacZ gene. The tox A gene fragment has a base sequence of sequence number 1. The recombinant vector is pCOK71 vector. A method for preparing the strain comprises: a step of amplifying the toxA gene fragment using primers of sequence numbers 2 and 3; a step of cloning the amplified toxA gene into a plasmid containing lacZ gene; and a step of transducing the vector to the strain. |
