PURPOSE: A rudder and a ship with the same are provided to improve the performance of the rudder in regard to the flow around the rudder because each rotational angle of the first and second blades can be differently maintained according to the progress and turning conditions of a ship when a helm angle is increased. CONSTITUTION: A rudder(10) for a ship comprises a rudder body(30), a first blade(41), a second blade(42), and a blade driving unit(50). The rudder body is rotatably installed on a hull. The first and second blades are rotatably installed on both sides of the rear end of the rudder body. The blade driving unit operates the first and second blade while being interlocked with the variation of a helm angle. The first and second blades are symmetrically arranged on a longitudinal center line of the rudder body. |
