PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output and display a claim whole structure representing a relation among claims stated in the scope of claims and the like to be added to a patent application in such a manner as easily acquiring hierarchical structure.SOLUTION: A method for analyzing/outputting hierarchical structure includes: extracting a two-level citation relation (hierarchical structure) from descriptions of each claim in an input scope of claims (Step 1-1); generating a set of initial routes based thereon (Step 1-2); and generating a set of completed routes comprising completed routes including one or a plurality of claims from independent claims to terminal claim and the sequence on the basis of the set of routes (Step 1-3). On the basis of the completed route set, an output space between routes and the position are obtained and the claim whole structure is output based on the obtained information (Step 1-4).
