PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active material capable of suppressing resistance increase, a method for producing the same, a nonaqueous electrolyte battery, and a battery pack.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the active material containing a lithium-titanium composite oxide is provided. The lithium-titanium composite oxide contains a lithium compound comprising at least one of lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide. The lithium content of the lithium compound is 0.017-0.073 mass% inclusive. |
