PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface crosslinking wire capable of energy saving in electron beam irradiation while reducing energy loss, and capable of preventing degradation of characteristics even if subjected to electron beam irradiation.SOLUTION: A surface crosslinking wire 1 includes a conductor 2, and an insulator 3 of multilayer structure including an inner layer 4 and an outer layer 5. The outer layer 5 is formed as a crosslinking layer 8 by irradiating the outer layer 5 having the surface 6 of the insulator 3 with a low energy electron beam 7. The inner layer 4 in contact with the conductor 2 is formed as a non-crosslinking layer 9 that is not irradiated with the low energy electron beam 7, and is also formed as a heat-resistant layer 10 against heat generation by the conductor 2. |
