PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver with a recording function and a program which, in the case of duplication of preset recording, are capable of selecting one of the programs having a better reception condition.SOLUTION: A controller 20 refers to a program preset-recording list of a preset-recording management unit 22 and check, in advance of the completion of a recording-preset program, whether or not another preset recording exists. If duplicated preset recording exists, the controller 20 starts a tuner 14 and performs processing for acquiring the reception conditions of the broadcast stations of the programs of the duplicated preset recording. The controller 20 compares the receiving conditions of the broadcast stations to determine which of the reception conditions is more satisfactory, and records a program of the broadcast station in the more satisfactory reception condition, in a recorder 19. |
