PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a building wall greening device and a building wall greening method that are capable of significantly saving energy in cooling a building and substantially reducing installation costs.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a plurality of planting material holding portions; a first supporting portion that supports the respective planting material holding portions at a plurality of positions a predetermined distance apart from a wall of the building; a plurality of mist discharge portions that discharge water which is sent through a water supply pipe in the form of mist; and a second supporting portion (which may be also used by the first support portion) that supports the respective mist discharge portions at positions apart from the wall face farther than a central portion in a horizontal direction of at least the respective planting material holding portions at each upper position of the respective planting material holding portion. Each of the mist discharge portions discharges mist toward each of the planting material holding portions and both sides of the wall. |
