PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head which can suppress the warpage of nozzles along the arrangement direction and can improve printing quality while having synthetic resin ink flow passage members capable of storing a large amount of ink.SOLUTION: An ink jet head includes: a head substrate 2 which has a plurality of nozzles 231 aligned in the longitudinal direction, a plurality of pressure chambers, a plurality of pressure generating means and a common flow passage 212 supplying ink to the plurality of pressure chambers commonly; a holding substrate 3 which comprises an Si substrate or a glass substrate for holding and fixing the head substrate 2; and ink flow passage members 5 which comprise synthetic resin storing ink to supply the ink to the pressure chambers of the head substrate 2 or discharge the ink from the pressure chambers via the holding substrate 3. The ink flow passage members 5 are not joined to a region on the holding substrate 3 corresponding to a region where the nozzles 231 are formed, and joined to regions at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the holding substrate 3 outside the region where the nozzles 231 are formed, respectively. |
