PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly accurate rotation detection by a simple configuration even at driving with driving pulse of larger energy.SOLUTION: A stepping motor control circuit comprises: a rotation detection part for detecting a rotation state of a stepping motor 108 in a detection period DT for detecting the rotation state of the stepping motor 108 according to an induction signal VRs generating in a drive coil of the stepping motor 108; and a control part for supplying the drive coil of the stepping motor 108 with a driving signal and rotating and driving the stepping motor 108, in a driving period P for rotating and driving the stepping motor 108. Parts of the detection period DT and the driving period P are configured to overlap at a first interval T0, and the control part stops the supply of the driving signal to the drive coil of the stepping motor 108 at the first interval T0. |
