PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that maintains a constant thickness of a developer layer held by a developing roller.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes a developing device 200 that supplies nonmagnetic single-component developer to a photoreceptor drum 2 with an electrostatic latent image formed thereon. The developing device 200 includes: a frame 210 for housing the developer; a supply roller 220 that holds the developer housed in the frame 210 on the outer circumferential surface; and a developing roller 230 that supplies developer to the photoreceptor drum 2, and comprises a roller section 222 that receives the developer supplied from the supply roller 220 and holds the developer layer on the outer circumferential surface and a shaft member 231 extended along a rotating shaft and having one or more magnetic sections 231b; and a plate-like regulation member 400 arranged in surface contact with the surface of the developer layer in the developing roller 230, and wholly or partially formed of a magnetic member. |
