PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker having a pressure regulator produced at reduced cost, and further being improved in safety when the pressure regulator is not operated normally.SOLUTION: A pressure regulation portion 64 has a first pressure regulating packing 75 provided with a hole 75A as a penetration portion, the hole 75A is closed by a pressure regulation valve 69, and the inside of a pot 11 is maintained in a pressure reduced state. A lid 21 has an opening portion 211 separated from the hole portion 75A, and includes an opening/closing device 212 for opening and closing the opening portion 211. In such a configuration, the separated opening portion 211 restores the inside pressure of the pot to the atmospheric pressure even when the hole 75A of the first pressure regulating packing 75 is not opened while being closed for some reason, and damage to a body 1 is inhibited, and the safety is increased. |
