PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ease the characteristic difference appearing in the whole battery, by suppressing appearance of the characteristic difference of each positive electrode and negative electrode at the terminal of electrode in each set.SOLUTION: An electrode assembly 10 for secondary battery is configured by laminating a positive electrode 11 and a negative electrode 12, where an active material 14 is applied onto a rectangular collector 13. A connection 11a for a positive electrode terminal provided in the positive electrode 11 and a connection 12a for a negative electrode terminal provided in the negative electrode 12 are provided so as not to overlap each other within a range of the first side S1 in a set of positive electrode 11 and negative electrode 12 forming a current path, and a part closer to the first side S1 than each intermediate position in the second side S2 and third side S3 connecting with the first side S1. A slit 15 is formed in a set of positive electrode 11 and negative electrode 12 forming a current path, and the slit 15 extends from the first side S1 toward the fourth side S4 at a position between the connection 11a for positive electrode terminal and the connection 12a for negative electrode terminal. |
