PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive paste for a multilayer ceramic capacitor capable of decreasing a crack occurrence rate in a sintering step, and also provide the multilayer ceramic capacitor.SOLUTION: A conductive paste for a multilayer ceramic capacitor includes: a first nickel particle 1 whose average particle diameter is 200 nm or more; a second nickel particle 2 whose average particle diameter is 100 nm or less; and an organic vehicle. At least the first nickel particle 1 out of the first nickel particle 1 and the second nickel particle 2 has the half width of the peak which is 0.3° or less and corresponds to the crystal surface (1, 1, 1).
