PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact ammonia generating device of a simple configuration, and to provide an exhaust emission control device having this ammonia generating device.SOLUTION: A vessel 10 of an ammonia generating device 6 stores a powdery or particle-like ammonia storage material 14 (Mg(NH)Cl) in its inside. A heater 11 being a heating unit is arranged in an upper part of an inside of the vessel 10. The heater 11 is arranged so as to be buried in an upper part of the ammonia storage material 14. An exhaust port 12 for making generated ammonia flow out is arranged in an upper part 10b of the vessel 10. One end of an ammonia supply pipe 13 is connected to the exhaust port 12, and the another end of the ammonia supply pipe 13 is connected to an exhaust pipe 2 between a DPF 3 and an SCR catalyst 4. |
