The endoprosthesis has a coupling part including a coupling pin, which is arranged in an inner opening (19) of an inlay (12). A ball joint is arranged at an upper end of the coupling part. The ball joint projects into an intercondylar intermediate space between condyle shells, and is pivotably mounted around a pivot axis, which runs transverse to a femur axis. An opening (11) of a tibia part (6) extends axially from a support surface of a tibia plateau into a tibia shaft, and possesses an upwardly all-side uniformly extending cross-section over an upper part of an axial length.
