<p>The present invention relates to a system and method for controlling field facilities by using a mobile terminal. In the method for controlling field facilities by using a mobile terminal, when a request signal for providing information on a field facility or a field apparatus, or a request signal for providing an application for controlling the field facility or the field apparatus is transmitted from a mobile terminal (smartphone) to a main server, the main server searches a database on the basis of the received request signal and extracts information on the corresponding facility or apparatus, or an application for controlling the corresponding facility or apparatus, to be provided to the mobile terminal (smartphone), and controls the corresponding field facility or apparatus on the basis of the information or application downloaded by the mobile terminal (smartphone). Accordingly, without using a local control panel installed in the field, the field facility or apparatus can be easily controlled by using the mobile terminal (smartphone) and can replace an existing local control panel installed in the field. Also, when a facility or an apparatus is newly added, a local control panel does not need to be installed, and thus additional expenses or maintenance expenses for the existing local control panel can be reduced.</p> |
