PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor device capable of distinguishing a chloride ion concentration change in concrete of a concrete structure from a pH change of the concrete and measuring the chloride ion concentration change, and utilizing the measurement information for planned maintenance of the concrete structure, and an installation method of the sensor device.SOLUTION: A sensor device 1 comprises: a first electrode 3; a second electrode 4 arranged alienated from the first electrode 3; a gap formation body 8 arranged so as to form a gap to cause crevice corrosion between the gap formation body 8 and part of a surface of the first electrode 3; a functional device 51 having a function for measuring an electric potential difference between the first electrode 3 and the second electrode 4. The surface of the first electrode 3 has a first area covered by the gap formation body 8 with the gap therebetween and a second area exposed to the outside without being covered by the gap formation body 8. The first area is unevenly distributed on one side in a direction of the first electrode 3, and the second area is unevenly distributed on the other side in a direction of the first electrode 3. |
