PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method that can easily reduce distortion of an image of a sample formed by injecting a fluid into a dent.SOLUTION: An ideal contour circle Ci is specified as a minimum-radius circumscribed circle of a measured contour Cm of a captured original image. A pixel value of a correction pixel (x, y) of the ideal contour circle Ci is determined on the basis of a pixel value of a pixel located near a correction reference point T' (x', y') on a half line LI which connects the center C of the ideal contour circle Ci with the correction pixel T. When intersections between the half line LI and the ideal contour circle Ci, and the contour Cm are S and S', respectively, the correction reference point T' is a point where a ratio of the length between a line segment CT' and a line segment CT is equal to a ratio of the length between a line segment CS' and a line segment CS. |
