PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly reliable laminated solid oxide fuel cell without causing any structural defect, such as crack due to thermal stress occurring under service conditions of repeated heating and cooling of the laminated solid oxide fuel cell.SOLUTION: The laminated solid oxide fuel cell is chamfered at the corners, i.e., vertices and sides. The corners are chamfered into curved surfaces having a radius of curvature R. When the length of the shortest side of the laminated solid oxide fuel cell is T, the radius of curvature R satisfies a relation 1/20T≤R≤1/2T. |
