PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a groove machining tool capable of linearly forming a scribe line with a constant beautiful line width even if a thin film to be machined is thick, in the groove machining of an integrated thin film solar battery.SOLUTION: A groove machining tool includes: a rod-like body 10 and a cutting edge region 11 formed at a tip of the body 10; the cutting edge region 11 includes a rectangular bottom face 12, a left side face 13 and a right side face 14 which are parallel with each other and vertically rise in relation to the bottom face 12 from sides in a longitudinal direction of the bottom face 12, and a cutting edge 16 formed along sides in a width direction of the bottom face 12 on at least either side of a front face side or a rear face side of the cutting edge region 11; and the cutting edge 16 is formed by forming a cutting edge with a first blade face 18 tilted toward diagonally upward at an end edge of the bottom face 12, and a second blade face 19 intersecting with the first blade face 18 at an acute angle. |
