PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for properly preventing neglected print using a portable terminal when print instruction is given from the portable terminal without operating a complicated system.SOLUTION: When a portable terminal 101 instructs an image processing system 102 to print, the direction of the image processing system 102 instructed to print from the portable terminal 101 is acquired. A portable terminal 102 acquires a moving direction of the portable terminal 102 and compares the moving direction with the direction of the image processing system 102 instructed to print. When it is determined that the portable terminal 101 moves in a different direction as a result of the comparison, a printing stop instruction is transmitted from the portable terminal 101 to the image processing system 102. When the image processing system 102 receives the printing stop instruction, the printing is temporarily stopped.
