PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled vacuum cleaner preventing failure and deterioration in cleaning efficiency thereof.SOLUTION: A self-propelled vacuum cleaner includes: a casing having a lower surface provided with a suction hole and self-propelled; and a side brush provided on the bottom surface of the casing in a manner to rotate about an axis perpendicular to the bottom surface of the casing. A side brush mounting position on the bottom surface of the casing, is projectingly provided with a rotation shaft. The side brush has a brush base attachably/detachably mounted to the rotation shaft, and a brush tuft implanted into the brush base. A space between the bottom surface of the casing and the brush base mounted to the rotation shaft is formed with a gap having an S-, U-, or L-shaped cross-section. |
